The best way to play wiki does not offer a best way to play Minecraft. The game has received so many game-changing updates and versions since it's inception in 2009, that it has had multiple instances of the Ship of Theseus to the point where one could argue there are 3, 4 or even more "Minecrafts" that have different features, design goals, and philosophies that all warrant being called their own game. There are many places on the internet that one can discuss, debate, argue and flame about which version of Minecraft is the best, but this wiki is not the place for such.
Furthermore, even recommending a launcher for the game is difficult and clouded. There are many choices (official, legal, and cracked), and they change over time. BWTP would like to skip on maintaining a page such as this.
